Meet Michele
My name is Michele Williams, and I am the CEO and founder of Metrique Solutions. As a business advisor to entrepreneurs with mixed or “complicated” relationships with money, I knew there had to be a simpler, more aesthetically pleasing way to analyze and truly understand financial data. And I saw a gap in the market for small business owners.
“What you don’t know won’t hurt you,” doesn’t apply to business growth, and many of my clients were suffering from this lack of knowledge and ensuing lack of confidence.
Metrique Solutions started as multiple spreadsheets that I gave to my private coaching clients. It was incredibly helpful at increasing profits, not just revenue, in their businesses - but I wanted it to be even easier to use, prettier to look at, and simple to understand. Those individual spreadsheets were condensed into one huge spreadsheet - but there were limitations.
Today, Metrique is a full-fledged software platform that can be used by any service-based entrepreneur who wants to grow, scale, and create a legacy business.

Michele’s Professional Background
Tech Company
I began my career in financial software development with Management Science America and Dun & Bradstreet Software.
It may sound as if it was a boring experience, but I can assure you that the experience helped my tech, testing, and organizational skills truly blossom.
Custom Workroom
I opened my soft furnishings company, The Scarlet Thread, in 2000. I eventually began teaching business classes with an emphasis on good business practices and pricing custom work. I was an instructor at the Custom Home Furnishings Academy, and I also formed a management company to support the daily operations of the Academy.
Business Advisory Firm
In 2013, I pivoted into Scarlet Thread Consulting and began offering coaching for creative businesses. I often looked at my clients’ bookkeeping and saw opportunities for them to make more money while working less.
My advisory firm became the foundation of Metrique Solutions: How to sustainably scale a business based on financials, not feelings.
